Three Key Visa-Free Policies:

Unilateral Visa Eexemption

China grants citizens of 46 countries visa-free entry for up to 30 days for business, tourism, family or friend visits, and transit. This is a one-way policy and does not guarantee the same treatment for Chinese travelers.

China and 29 countries have reciprocal agreements, allowing citizens from both sides visa-free entry for up to 30 days for business, tourism, family or friend visits, and other short stays.

Transit Visa-Free Entry

Nationals of the following transit countries holding valid ordinary passports can be exempted fromvisa requirement when entering China for transit purposes. They can stay in China for up to 10 days (240 hours) without a visa.
